Senior Program Coordinator – Successteam Youth Council

Position Description

The Senior Program Coordinator for the Successteam Youth Council is a leadership position within our team, responsible for the strategic oversight, management, and growth of all program activities. This role works closely with the Program Director and program staff to ensure the seamless execution of biweekly sessions, college tours, volunteer initiatives, and other critical developmental experiences for high school scholars (grades 9-12). The Senior Program Coordinator will also lead the development of program curriculum, supervise a team of Program Coordinators & Interns, and manage key relationships with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

Included but are not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate biweekly group sessions, college tours, outreach experiences, and volunteer initiatives
  • Supervise, mentor, and support Program Coordinators and other team members, ensuring alignment with program goals and objectives
  • Develop and refine the Successteam Youth Council curriculum and ensure it remains relevant to the needs of students
  • Establish and maintain key relationships with community partners, school officials, and other stakeholders to promote the program
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to set program goals, metrics, and long-term strategy for program development
  • Lead and manage the execution of program activities, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective participant engagement
  • Provide leadership in urgent or emergency situations, ensuring that program policies and procedures are followed
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of program participants, and monitor the performance of team members
  • Assist in preparing program reports, participant feedback, and evaluation documents to assess program impact
  • Manage program budgets and oversee the allocation of resources to ensure financial sustainability
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members and volunteers
  • Represent Successteam in external meetings, events, and partnerships

Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Minimum of (2) years of related experience, preferably in youth development or nonprofit sectors
  • Ability to pass a Background Check
  • Ability to pass a Drug Test
  • Valid Driver’s License or access to reliable transportation
